Warm welcome to new Board members!

I am pleased to announce the addition of three new Board members to the POF Board of Directors. We extend a warm welcome to Heidi de Laubenfels, Gail Lasprogata, and Valerie Nkamgang Bemo, M.D.

·         Ms. De Laubenfels is currently at McKinstry as Director of Communications and External Relations. She spent more than 20 years in journalism prior to joining McKinstry.

·         Dr. Lasprogata is a professor of business and international law at Seattle University where she is tenured in the Albers School of Business and Economics.

·         Dr. Bemo is the Senior Program Officer responsible for the Emergency Response portfolio, and the Senior Regional Advisor for West Africa within the Agricultural Development portfolio at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

We look forward to their input and guidance in the years to come.

Mary Gladhart returns to the Board

After serving as Interim Executive Director this summer, Mary was warmly voted onto the Board as a returning member. We thank her for her prior service as Board President and are grateful to continue to have her expertise on the Board.
